Norton Lancers (Norton, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad tip the visiting Hopkinton Hillers (Hopkinton, MA), 9-7 in a league battle.

The Lancers (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Medfield (Medfield, MA). The Warriors go into the Tri-Valley battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Medfield by Dedham (Dedham, MA), 15-5, in a league battle.
