New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Weston Trojans (Weston, CT), 15-2 in a league challenge.

The Green Wave now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Immaculate for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6. New Milford will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Weston falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Abbott RVT (Danbury, CT) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 5. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a record of 5-8. Abbott RVT won 20-18 in their recent league challenge against Goodwin Tech (New Britain, CT)
