Maryland High School Softball - Patuxent bounces Westlake
May 3, 2023: Lusby, MD 20657 Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD), 17-2 in a league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Huntingtown for a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, May 5. Patuxent will face a Hurricanes squad coming off a 13-1 league win over Lackey (Indian Head, MD). The Hurricanes record now stands at 15-4.
With the loss, Westlake falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Lackey (Indian Head, MD) to face the Chargers in a Southern Maryland challenge on Thursday, May 4. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 1-13. Lackey lost 13-1 in their recent league challenge against Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD)
