Vermilion Sailors (Vermilion, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Western Reserve Roughriders (Collins, OH), 13-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Vermilion upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Sailors travel to Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH) to battle the Redskins in a Sandusky Bay - Bay test on Monday, May 6. The Redskins come into the test with a record of 1-18.

With the defeat, Western Reserve falls to 3-18 on the season. The Roughriders travel to Plymouth (Plymouth, OH) to battle the Big Red in a Firelands test on Monday, May 6.
