Illinois High School Soccer - Naperville Central knocks off Normal Community
May 3, 2024: Normal, IL 61761 Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Redhawks confront the Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) in a DuPage Valley challenge, on Tuesday, May 7. Naperville Central will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 12-2 record after their 4-1 league win over Waubonsie Valley (Aurora, IL).
With the loss, Normal Community drops to 15-5 on the season. The Ironmen host Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 7. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 9-3. Mahomet-Seymour won 9-0 in their recent league test against Charleston (Charleston, IL)
