May 3, 2024: Midlothian, VA 23113 James River Midlothian Rapids (Midlothian, VA) boosters exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA), 9-2 in a non-league battle.
The Rapids now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Powhatan for a non-league battle on Monday, May 6. James River Midlothian will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Indians record now stands at 0-6.
In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Thomas Dale Knights (Chester, VA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 10. Godwin will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record.
