Connecticut High School Softball - Whitney RVT topped by Abbott RVT
May 3, 2024: Hamden, CT 06514 The Abbott RVT Wolverines softball team scored 24 runs and limited the host Whitney RVT Owls to 13 in the Wolverines league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Abbott RVT moves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Wolverines host Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT) to play the Spartans in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 7. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 11-2. Shepaug Valley won 4-0 in their recent league game against Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT)
In their next game, the Owls play the Bullard-Havens Tigers (Bridgeport, CT) in a Connecticut Tech game, on Monday, May 6. Whitney RVT will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 2-11 record after their 16-2 league loss to O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT).
