New York High School Softball - Avoca Central bounces Keshequa
May 3, 2024: Avoca, NY 14809 The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Avoca Central Tigers (Avoca, NY) and the visiting Keshequa Indians (Nunda, NY), saw Avoca Central's softball squad achieve victory over Keshequa by a count of 13-1.
The Tigers now sport a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Arkport Central for a non-league match on Monday, May 6. Avoca Central will face a Bluejays squad coming off a 22-13 non-league win over Alfred-Almond (Almond, NY). The Bluejays record now stands at 3-7.
With the loss, Keshequa falls to 9-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Bolivar-Richburg (Bolivar, NY) to face the Wolverines in a non-league match on Friday, May 3. The Wolverines enter the match with a record of 8-8. Bolivar-Richburg won 8-1 in their recent league match against Andover (Andover, NY)
