Connecticut High School Softball - Bassick loses to Hillhouse
May 3, 2024: Bridgeport, CT 06605 The Hillhouse Academics softball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Bassick Lions to 6 in the Academics non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Hillhouse improves its record to 2-10 on the year. The Academics travel to East Haven (East Haven, CT) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a non-league game on Monday, May 6. The Yellowjackets come into the game with a record of 7-7. East Haven lost 17-5 in their recent non-league game against Norwalk (Norwalk, CT)
In their next game, the Lions clash with the Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars (Bridgeport, CT) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 4. Bassick will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 3-8 record after their 12-5 league loss to Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT).
