South Carolina High School Softball - Crescent holds off Union County
May 3, 2024: Union, SC 29379 The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Crescent Tigers (Iva, SC) and the host Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC), saw Crescent's softball squad nip Union County by a count of 10-8.
The Tigers now sport a 18-4 record.
With the loss, Union County falls to 18-5 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Blue Ridge (Greer, SC) to face the Fighting Tigers in a non-league match on Monday, May 6. The Fighting Tigers enter the match with a record of 18-8. Blue Ridge won 8-7 in their recent non-league match against Wren (Piedmont, SC)
