Maine High School Softball - Gray-New Gloucester topped by Wells
May 3, 2024: Gray, ME 04039 In Friday's league contest, the Wells Warriors (Wells, ME) softball team overwhelmed the host Gray-New Gloucester Patriots (Gray, ME), by a margin of 14-6.
With the triumph, Wells moves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Warriors travel to Freeport (Freeport, ME) to play the Falcons in a Class B South contest on Friday, May 10. The Falcons come into the contest with a record of 6-0.
In their next game, the Patriots play the Dirigo Cougars (Dixfield, ME) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 6. Gray-New Gloucester will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record.
