New York High School Softball - New Dorp bounces Lincoln
May 3, 2024: Staten Island, NY 10306 New Dorp Central Cougars (Staten Island, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters (Brooklyn, NY), 19-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Central Cougars now own a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tottenville for a PSAL Staten Island A challenge on Saturday, May 4.
With the loss, Lincoln falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Railsplitters host Port Richmond (Staten Island, NY) to battle the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 6. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 3-7. Port Richmond won 23-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Dewey (Brooklyn, NY)
