Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting South San Antonio Bobcats (San Antonio, TX), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rangers now sport a 30-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Liberty Hill for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 11. Smithson Valley will face a Panthers squad coming off a 10-3 non-league win over Southwest (San Antonio, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 24-6.

With the loss, South San Antonio falls to 23-12 on the campaign.
