May 3, 2025: Merrillville, IN 46410 In Saturday's non-league bout, the Andrean Fighting 59ers (Merrillville, IN) baseball squad the visiting Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN), by a score of 9-5.
Next up, the Fighting 59ers encounter the Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) in a Northwest Crossroads bout, on Monday, May 5. Andrean will attempt to advance on its 15-1 season record. The Red Devils enter the bout with a 8-7 record after their 11-2 non-league loss to Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN).
The Kingsmen (15-1) will now prepare for their test against Elkhart (Elkhart, IN). The Lions go into the Northern Indiana test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Elkhart nudged Northridge (Middlebury, IN), 8-4, in a non-league test.
