California High School Baseball - Berean Christian sneaks past Branson

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Berean Christian Eagles (Walnut Creek, CA) and the host Branson Bulls (Ross, CA), saw Berean Christian's baseball team get by Branson by a tally of 8-7.

The Eagles (15-5) will now prepare for their battle against Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA). The Knights enter the Diablo-Valley battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Las Lomas held off Mt. Diablo (Concord, CA), 21-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Bulls face the Redwood Giants (Larkspur, CA) in a Marin County battle, on Tuesday, May 6. Branson will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Giants enter the battle with a 13-8 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Petaluma (Petaluma, CA).
