The Trinidad Miners baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Center Vikings to 5 in the Miners league win on Saturday.

The Miners now own a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calhan for a non-league test on Friday, May 9. Trinidad will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 18-2 non-league loss to Crowley County (Ordway, CO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-13.

With the defeat, Center drops to 2-16 on the year. The Vikings travel to South Park (Fairplay, CO) to battle the Burros in a non-league match on Friday, May 9. The Burros come into the match with a record of 2-9.
