New York High School Baseball - Columbia holds off Wallkill

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Columbia Blue Devils (East Greenbush, NY) and the host Wallkill Panthers (Wallkill, NY), saw Columbia's baseball team gain a win over Wallkill by a tally of 6-2.

The Blue Devils (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Red Hook (Red Hook, NY). The Raiders enter the non-league battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Red Hook held off Pine Plains (Pine Plains, NY), 11-3, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers face the Our Lady of Lourdes Warriors (Poughkeepsie, NY) in a Section 9 Mid Hudson I battle, on Wednesday, May 7. Wallkill will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 5-6 record after their 9-4 league loss to Roosevelt (Hyde Park, NY).
