The Germantown Friends baseball squad (Philadelphia, PA), was overwhelmed 13-2 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Springfield Township Spartans (Erdenheim, PA)

With the triumph, Springfield Township moves its record to 13-3 on the season. The Spartans host William Tennent (Warminster, PA) to confront the Panthers in a Suburban One - Freedom contest on Monday, May 5. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 6-11. William Tennent won 10-0 in their recent league contest against Lower Moreland (Huntingdon Valley, PA)
