May 3, 2025: Ann Arbor, MI 48105 The Huron River Rats (Ann Arbor, MI) baseball trounced the visiting Redford Union Panthers (Redford, MI), 20-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The River Rats now own a 8-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pioneer for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 5. Huron will clash with a Pioneers team coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 9-10.
With the defeat, Redford Union drops to 0-21 on the year. The Panthers host Annapolis (Dearborn Heights, MI) to battle the Cougars in a Western Wayne outing on Monday, May 5. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 6-8. Annapolis lost 4-0 in their recent non-league outing against Inter-City Baptist (Allen Park, MI)
