The Sun Valley Vanguards baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Interboro Buccaneers to 0 in the Vanguards non-league win on Saturday.

The Vanguards now own a 2-13 record. They take the field next when they host Oxford for a Ches-Mont test on Monday, May 5. Sun Valley will play a Hornets team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Faith Christian Academy (Sellersville, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 6-10.

With the defeat, Interboro drops to 9-5 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Chichester (Boothwyn, PA) to play the Eagles in a Delaware Valley test on Monday, May 5. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 10-3. Chichester won 16-0 in their recent league test against Penn Wood (Lansdowne, PA)
