Colorado High School Baseball - Montezuma-Cortez wallops North Fork
May 3, 2025: Cortez, CO 81321 The Montezuma-Cortez Panthers baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting North Fork Miners to 0 in the Panthers non-league win on Saturday.
The Panthers now own a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Centauri for a 3A Intermountain test on Thursday, May 8. Montezuma-Cortez will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 21-3 league loss to Alamosa (Alamosa, CO). The Falcons record now stands at 7-12.
With the defeat, North Fork drops to 8-8 on the year. The Miners host Roaring Fork (Carbondale, CO) to clash with the Rams in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 6. The Rams go into the test with a record of 6-14. Roaring Fork won 23-0 in their recent league test against Moffat County (Craig, CO)
