May 3, 2025: Stanley, ND 58784 The Stanley Blue Jays (Stanley, ND) baseball trounced the visiting New Town Eagles (New Town, ND), 21-3 in Saturday's league challenge.
The Blue Jays now own a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Des Lacs-Burlington for a Class B - Region VII challenge on Tuesday, May 6. Stanley will clash with a Lakers team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Beulah (Beulah, ND). The Lakers record now stands at 7-2.
With the defeat, New Town drops to 0-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to Tioga (Tioga, ND) to clash with the Pirates in a Class B - Region VII challenge on Tuesday, May 6. The Pirates go into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Tioga lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Kenmare/Bowbells/Burke Central (Kenmare, ND)
