New York High School Lacrosse - Penn Yan Academy can't get by Fairport
May 3, 2025: Penn Yan, NY 14527 In Saturday's non-league test, the Fairport Red Raiders (Fairport, NY) lacrosse team edged the host Penn Yan Academy Mustangs (Penn Yan, NY), by a count of 10-9.
Next up, the Red Raiders battle the Webster Schroeder Warriors (Webster, NY) in a Section 5 Monroe County I test, on Monday, May 5. Fairport will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Warriors enter the test with a 1-7 record after their 13-10 non-league loss to Brighton (Rochester, NY).
The Mustangs (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Honeoye Falls-Lima (Honeoye Falls, NY). The Cougars enter the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Honeoye Falls-Lima got by Brockport (Brockport, NY), 21-1, in a non-league test.
