Illinois High School Soccer - Batavia nudges Normal Community
May 3, 2025: Batavia, IL 60510 In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Batavia Bulldogs soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 win over the Normal Community Ironmen.
The Bulldogs (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL). The Fighting Saints enter the DuKane outing with a 14-4 record. In their last outing, St. Charles East was edged by Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Ironmen confront the Urbana Tigers (Urbana, IL) in a Big Twelve outing, on Tuesday, May 6. Normal Community will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 5-9 record after their 7-0 league loss to Richwoods (Peoria, IL).
