May 3, 2025: Peoria, IL 61603 The Canton Little Giants soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Peoria Christian Chargers to 0 in the Little Giants non-league victory on Saturday.
The Little Giants now possess a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Washington for a Mid-Illini bout on Tuesday, May 6. Canton will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-2 non-league Geneseo (Geneseo, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 7-7.
With the loss, Peoria Christian moves to 5-4 on the year. The Chargers host Pekin (Pekin, IL) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Monday, May 5. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 9-8. Pekin lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Clayton (St. Louis, MO)
