May 3, 2025: Pleasant Valley, IA 52767 Saint Thomas Aquinas Saints (Overland Park, KS) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA), 4-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Saint Thomas Aquinas advances its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Saints host Bishop Miege (Shawnee Mission, KS) to clash with the Stags in a Eastern Kansas test on Tuesday, May 6. The Stags come into the test with a record of 9-5. Bishop Miege won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Piper (Kansas City, KS)
The Spartans now have a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Davenport Central for a Mississippi Athletic test on Tuesday, May 6. Pleasant Valley will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Dubuque Senior (Dubuque, IA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-5.
