The San Mateo Bearcats baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting El Camino Colts to 8 in the Bearcats non-league win on Saturday.

The Bearcats now own a 7-15 record. They take the field next when they host South San Francisco for a non-league test on Monday, May 5. San Mateo will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Mission (San Francisco, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-15.

With the defeat, El Camino drops to 0-13 on the year. The Colts host Terra Nova (Pacifica, CA) to clash with the Tigers in a test on Saturday, May 17. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 12-6.
