With the triumph, Western advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Panthers host Hastings (Hastings, MI) to battle the Saxons in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 6. The Saxons come into the match with a record of 2-2. Hastings won 9-2 in their recent non-league match against Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI)
The Wolves now have a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lakewood for a non-league match on Saturday, May 3. Okemos will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 12-6 non-league loss to Pennfield (Battle Creek, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 0-3.
