May 3, 2025: Clarks Summit, PA 18411 The Abington Heights Comets triumphed over the visiting Loyalsock Township Lancers softball squad by a count of 8-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Comets meet the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 5. Abington Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 14-2 season record. The Buckhorns enter the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to North Pocono (Covington Township, PA).
The Lancers (10-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA). The Bluejays enter the non-league challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Central Columbia was routed by Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA), 12-2, in a league challenge.
