Cascade Cadets (Clayton, IN) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Franklin Central Flashes (Indianapolis, IN), 6-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Cascade upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Cadets travel to McCutcheon (Lafayette, IN) to play the Mavericks in a non-league game on Saturday, May 3. The Mavericks enter the game with a record of 6-4. McCutcheon lost 5-4 in their recent non-league game against Plainfield (Plainfield, IN)

In their next game, the Flashes battle the Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 3. Franklin Central will attempt to advance on its 9-7 season record. The Grizzly Cubs go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 7-2 league win over Mooresville (Mooresville, IN).
