Kentucky High School Softball - Central Hardin edges Lyon County
May 3, 2025: Cecilia, KY 42724 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Central Hardin Bruins (Cecilia, KY) and the visiting Lyon County Lyons (Eddyville, KY), observed Central Hardin's softball team get by Lyon County by a tally of 8-6.
The Bruins (19-12) will now prepare for their bout against Oldham County (Buckner, KY). The Colonels go into the non-league bout with a 19-3 record. In their last bout, Oldham County tipped Mercer County (Harrodsburg, KY), 11-4, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Lyons battle the Owensboro Catholic Aces (Owensboro, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 3. Lyon County will attempt to advance on its 7-13 season record. The Aces go into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 11-6 league win over Apollo (Owensboro, KY).
