New Jersey High School Softball - Montclair Kimberley Academy drops to Columbia
May 3, 2025: Montclair, NJ 07042 Columbia Cougars (Maplewood, NJ) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Montclair Kimberley Academy Cougars (Montclair, NJ), 8-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Columbia improves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Cougars host Mount St. Dominic Academy (Caldwell, NJ) to face the Lions in a SEC - American game on Monday, May 5. The Lions enter the game with a record of 12-3.
The Cougars now hold a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to East Side for a SEC - Colonial game on Monday, May 5. Montclair Kimberley Academy will face a Red Raiders squad coming off a 15-1 non-league loss to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NJ). The Red Raiders record now stands at 0-8.
