The East Bridgewater Vikings softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Middleborough Sachems to 3 in the Vikings league win on Saturday.

The Vikings now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carver for a South Shore - Pilgrim battle on Monday, May 5. East Bridgewater will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 7-5 league win over Rockland (Rockland, MA). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Middleborough moves to 4-4 on the season. The Sachems host Abington (Abington, MA) to confront the Green Wave in a South Shore - Pilgrim battle on Wednesday, May 7.
