The Marquette Crusaders (Ottawa, IL) softball routed the visiting Hall Red Devils (Spring Valley, IL), 17-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Crusaders now sport a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seneca for a Tri-County outing on Tuesday, May 6. Marquette will encounter a Fighting Irish team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Ottawa (Ottawa, IL). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 23-0.

With the loss, Hall moves to 4-16 on the season. The Red devils travel to Princeton (Princeton, IL) to encounter the Tigers in a Three Rivers East outing on Monday, May 5.
