Connecticut High School Softball - Whitney RVT bounces Wilbur Cross
May 3, 2025: Hamden, CT 06514 The Whitney RVT Owls softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Wilbur Cross Governors to 0 in the Owls non-league win on Saturday.
The Owls now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host O'Brien RVT for a Connecticut Tech battle on Wednesday, May 7. Whitney RVT will encounter a Condors team coming off a 14-5 non-league loss to Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Condors record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Wilbur Cross moves to 3-9 on the season. The Governors travel to Branford (Branford, CT) to encounter the Hornets in a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 7. The Hornets come into the battle with a record of 4-8. Branford won 16-2 in their recent non-league battle against Hamden (Hamden, CT)
