Rhode Island High School Lacrosse - Portsmouth Abbey drops to Pomfret School
May 4, 2022: Portsmouth, RI 02871 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Pomfret School Griffins (Pomfret, CT) lacrosse squad routed the host Portsmouth Abbey Ravens (Portsmouth, RI), by a count of 13-7.
Coming up next, the Griffins confront the Frederick Gunn Highlanders (Washington, CT) in a Nepsac contest, on Saturday, May 7. Pomfret School will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record. The Highlanders enter the contest with a 9-2 record after their 14-4 league win over Kingswood Oxford (West Hartford, CT).
The Ravens now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Canterbury School for a non-league contest on Saturday, May 14.
