In Thursday's league challenge, the Tri-County North Panthers (Lewisburg, OH) baseball squad edged the visiting National Trail Blazers (New Paris, OH), by a final score of 6-5.

With the win, Tri-County North upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Panthers travel to Ansonia (Ansonia, OH) to battle the Tigers in a Western Ohio Athletic challenge on Friday, May 5. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Ansonia lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Arcanum (Arcanum, OH)

With the defeat, National Trail falls to 7-8 on the season. The Blazers host Northridge (Dayton, OH) to battle the Polar Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6. The Polar Bears come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Northridge lost 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Lehman Catholic (Sidney, OH)
