May 4, 2023: Hoffman Estates, IL 60169 The Fremd Vikings volleyball team scored 2 points and held the host Conant Cougars to 1 in the Vikings league win on Thursday.
With the win, Fremd betters its record to 20-7 on the year. The Vikings host Jefferson (Rockford, IL) to face the J-Hawks in a non-league outing on Friday, May 5. The J-Hawks go into the outing with a record of 14-8. Jefferson lost 2-0 in their recent league outing against Hononegah (Rockton, IL)
The Cougars now sport a 19-7 record. They play next when they travel to DePaul College Prep for a non-league outing on Saturday, May 6. Conant will face a Rams squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Chicago Mt. Carmel (Chicago, IL). The Rams record now stands at 9-12.
