The Graves County Eagles got by the visiting Caldwell County Tigers softball squad by a count of 6-5 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Eagles (9-11) will now prepare for their battle against Hickman County (Clinton, KY). The Falcons go into the non-league battle with a 8-10 record. In their last battle, Hickman County nudged Calloway County (Murray, KY), 10-1, in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now sport a 14-10 record. They play next when they travel to Hopkins County Central for a District 7 battle on Friday, May 5. Caldwell County will meet a Storm squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Fort Campbell (Fort Campbell, KY). The Storm record now stands at 3-17.
