Ohio High School Softball - Lancaster bounces Pickerington Central
May 4, 2023: Lancaster, OH 43130 Lancaster Golden Gales (Lancaster, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pickerington Central Tigers (Pickerington, OH), 8-1 in a league challenge.
The Golden Gales now own a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newark for a Ohio Capital - Buckeye challenge on Friday, May 5. Lancaster will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-3 league win over Groveport-Madison (Groveport, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-7.
With the loss, Pickerington Central falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to St. Francis DeSales (Columbus, OH) to battle the Stallions in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 5. The Stallions enter the challenge with a record of 5-7. St. Francis DeSales lost 12-1 in their recent league challenge against Bishop Hartley (Columbus, OH)
