Washington High School Softball - Mt. Baker loses to Lynden
May 4, 2023: Lynden, WA 98264 The Lynden Lions softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Mt. Baker Mountaineers to 2 in the Lions league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Lynden improves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Meridian (Bellingham, WA) to clash with the Trojans in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest game on Monday, May 8. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 9-7. Meridian lost 15-0 in their recent league bout against Blaine (Blaine, WA)
The Mountaineers now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sehome for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Friday, May 5. Mt. Baker will confront a Mariners squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Mariners record now stands at 1-8.
