Maine High School Softball - Old Orchard Beach loses to Poland
May 4, 2023: Old Orchard Beach, ME 04064 The Poland Knights softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Old Orchard Beach Seagulls to 0 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Poland improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Knights host Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME) to clash with the Clippers in a Class B South game on Monday, May 8. The Clippers come into the game with a record of 1-3. Yarmouth lost 8-5 in their recent league game against Lake Region (Naples, ME)
In their next game, the Seagulls clash with the Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 6. Old Orchard Beach will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 4-8 record after their 14-13 non-league loss to St. Dominic (Lewiston, ME).
