May 4, 2024: Burlington, IL 60109 Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL), 6-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Central upgrades its record to 16-8 on the season. The Rockets host Hampshire (Hampshire, IL) to battle the Whip-Purs in a Fox Valley - Valley test on Monday, May 6. The Lions come into the test with a record of 14-8. Harvest Christian Academy won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against St. Edward (Elgin, IL)
