May 4, 2024: West Liberty, KY 41472 The Morgan County Cougars baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting St. Joseph Central Irish to 0 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cougars (9-15) will now prepare for their match against Floyd Central (Eastern, KY). The Jaguars go into the non-league match with a 13-16 record. In their last match, Floyd Central was overwhelmed by Perry County Central (Hazard, KY), 7-0, in a non-league match.
The Irish (8-15) will now prepare for their match against Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 3-12 record. In their last match, Menifee County was overwhelmed by Bath County (Owingsville, KY), 21-0, in a league match.
