The Herron Achaeans held off the host Avon Orioles volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Achaeans now have a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boone Grove for a non-league test on Saturday, May 4. Herron will confront a Wolves team coming off a 3-0 league win over Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN). The Wolves record now stands at 21-6.
