New Jersey High School Softball - Cedar Grove bounces West Orange
May 4, 2024: West Orange, NJ 07052 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Cedar Grove Panthers (Cedar Grove, NJ) and the host West Orange Mountaineers (West Orange, NJ), witnessed Cedar Grove's softball squad prevail over West Orange by a count of 17-0.
The Panthers now sport a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Millburn for a non-league match on Monday, May 6. Cedar Grove will meet a Millers squad coming off a 14-7 non-league loss to Columbia (Maplewood, NJ). The Millers record now stands at 4-9.
With the loss, West Orange moves to 9-6 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to East Orange Campus (East Orange, NJ) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league match on Monday, May 6. The Jaguars go into the match with a record of 5-6. East Orange Campus lost 27-19 in their recent league match against Science Park (Newark, NJ)
