May 4, 2024: Stonington, CT 06379 The Killingly Redmen got by the host Stonington Bears softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Saturday's league battle.
The Redmen (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT). The Bobcats go into the Eastern Connecticut - Medium battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Bacon Academy nudged Wheeler (North Stonington, CT), 5-4, in a non-league battle.
The Bears now sport a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Plainfield for a non-league battle on Monday, May 6. Stonington will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Putnam (Putnam, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 7-7.
