New York High School Softball - Proctor knocked off by Westmoreland
May 4, 2024: Utica, NY 13501 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Westmoreland Bulldogs (Westmoreland, NY) softball team overwhelmed the host Proctor Raiders (Utica, NY), by a margin of 15-0.
With the triumph, Westmoreland moves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Mt. Markham (West Winfield, NY) to play the Mustangs in a Section 3 Center State II contest on Monday, May 6. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 7-4. Mt. Markham lost 26-20 in their recent non-league contest against Holland Patent (Holland Patent, NY)
In their next game, the Raiders play the Camden Blue Devils (Camden, NY) in a Section 3 Tri-Valley contest, on Monday, May 6. Proctor will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a 10-1 record after their 13-5 non-league win over Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY).
