The Arcola Purple Riders (Arcola, IL) baseball trounced the visiting Unity Christian Lions (Decatur, IL), 28-2 in Monday's league challenge.

The Purple Riders now own a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blue Ridge for a Lincoln Prairie challenge on Wednesday, May 6. Arcola will clash with a Knights team coming off a 14-4 league loss to Argenta-Oreana (Argenta, IL). The Knights record now stands at 1-12.
