The Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets (Rawson, OH) baseball got by the visiting Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH), 9-8 in Monday's league challenge.

The Fighting Hornets now own a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they host Hardin Northern for a Northwest Central challenge on Tuesday, May 5. Cory-Rawson will clash with a Polar Bears team coming off a 9-1 league loss to North Baltimore (North Baltimore, OH). The Polar Bears record now stands at 1-13.

With the defeat, Upper Scioto Valley drops to 4-10 on the year. The Rams host Waynesfield-Goshen (Waynesfield, OH) to clash with the Tigers in a Northwest Central challenge on Tuesday, May 5.
